Affiliate Disclosure

This page explains how Prime Betting Sites makes its money. It is not buried in the small print because you are entitled to know who pays for what you are reading before you decide how much to trust it.

The short version

When you click a link on this site and open an account with a bookmaker, that bookmaker may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra. Your odds are not worse, your offer is not smaller, and your account is treated exactly as it would be had you typed the bookmaker’s address into your browser yourself.

How the arrangement actually works

Bookmakers run affiliate programmes. Sites like this one send them customers, and they pay either a one-off amount per new account or a share of the revenue that customer generates over time. The tracking works through the link itself, which is why the links here are the ones we ask you to use.

Two things follow from that, and both are worth stating plainly:

Why our rankings are not for sale

The order of bookmakers on this site is decided on merit, using the criteria set out in our editorial policy: odds and value, app quality, withdrawal speed, how fair the terms are, and the strength of the licence. Commercial terms are not one of those criteria and are not consulted when a list is put together.

Some bookmakers we rate highly pay us relatively little. Some that pay generously do not appear on this site at all, because they were not good enough. That is the entire test, and it is the only reason the recommendations here are worth reading.

What we refuse

Where the money goes

Commission pays for the site: hosting, tools, the accounts we fund in order to test bookmakers properly, and the time it takes to write a review that is worth reading. There is no venture money behind this and no media group above it.

It also means we test with our own funds. Nobody hands us a free account with a topped-up balance, which is why our verdicts on withdrawal times are based on our own money going out and coming back rather than on what a press pack claims.

What you should do with this information

Treat it the way you would treat any recommendation from someone with a commercial interest. Read what we say, check the bookmaker’s own terms before you deposit, and judge us over time on whether our advice held up.

If you would rather not use our links, that is entirely reasonable and the information on this site is free either way.
